A seasoned cybersecurity and enterprise technology leader, John excels at translating strategy into agile execution to drive business results and customer success. He has built and led global security, compliance, risk, and technology operations teams across financial services. He specializes in transforming underperforming organizations into industry-recognized programs of excellence, delivering measurable improvements in cyber posture, regulatory readiness, and operational efficiency.
Before joining Rubrik, John was a Managing Director at BNY Mellon, leading Cyber Operations, Engineering, Architecture, and Governance. He also led Cyber Engineering at Deutsche Bank and held senior technology leadership roles at ADP. He continues to advise early-stage security and enterprise software companies on product strategy, go-to-market alignment, and resilience by design.
He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from William Paterson University, an M.S. in Information Systems, and a Ph.D. in the Management of Technology from Stevens Institute of Technology.
