Building Confidence Across the Market
The Cyber Insurance Academy’s nomination for Cyber Insurance Awareness Initiative of the Year reflects its ongoing mission to remove one of the greatest barriers to cyber insurance adoption: the lack of confidence among brokers and agents when discussing cyber risk with clients.
In late 2024 and 2025, the Academy launched a multi-layered awareness initiative centered around its Cyber Insurance Essentials (CIE) program – a short, practical course designed to help busy brokers and client-facing professionals talk about cyber risk clearly and confidently. Delivered through broker networks and associations, and supported by open-access resources such as objection-handling guides, conversation starters, and expert webinars, the initiative has already helped hundreds of professionals embed cyber insurance into everyday client conversations.
Recognizing Mentorship and Leadership
The second nomination, Cyber Insurance Mentor of the Year, honors Asaf Armoni, who serves as both CTO and lead instructor at the Cyber Insurance Academy. Over the past year, Asaf has become a trusted mentor for hundreds of insurance professionals globally, supporting them not only through technical expertise but also through personal guidance and career development.
In 2025, Asaf launched the Cyber Insurance Academy Scholarship Program, expanding access to cyber education for talented professionals worldwide who may not have otherwise had the opportunity to specialize in this field. The initiative has already led to tangible career advancements for participants and broadened the industry’s talent pipeline.
