  • Bridging the Gap: CCIS Agents

    The recent micro-course is a great source of information. However, as a technology consultant and insurance agency owner, I’m looking for better ways to “bridge the gap” between businesses (especially SME) that need assistance is demonstrating a sound risk posture, prior to proposal, and insurers who are seeking capable front-line agents.

    I’m wondering what sort of success agents have had in bridging this gap and any other thoughts that come to mind on this topic.

    Awareness to your customers related to cyber threats and the penalties associated with it along with brand reputation impact.

    Great point—bridging that gap is key, especially for SMEs that often lack formal risk documentation. I’ve seen success through pre-proposal risk assessments and tailored reports that speak insurers’ language. Building relationships with underwriters also helps. Would love to hear others’ experiences—what tools or approaches have worked best for you?
