The Cyber Insurance Academy’s insurance certification course receives CII CPD Accreditation
The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), one of the leading professional bodies in the global insurance market, has given formal recognition of the high quality of learning and contribution to professional development that the Cyber Insurance Academy provides, with full CPD Accreditation for its CCIS course. The Cyber Insurance Academy is the first and only cyber insurance program to have achieved CII accreditation for cyber insurance training.
This is a mark of distinction awarded only to programs that meet rigorous criteria, namely, clear value-added, high standards of academic quality, and the delivery of tangible professional development.
The CII was particularly impressed with the use of interactive interfaces to aid learning, including videos, diagrams, graphics, and bite-sized lesson plans, as this helps to break down complex concepts into manageable chunks of learning. It also highlighted the use of appropriate, thought-provoking practical assignments and quizzes dotted throughout the course which helps to lift cyber insurance theory off the page and to embed learning. The CII assessors found the content to be well researched, providing clear, relevant, and professional facts and figures for application in students’ day-to-day work. The CI Academy Plus offering was also identified as having a particular value to cyber insurance training. The CI Academy Plus provides continuity of learning and a varied community of program graduates and cyber insurance experts.
